Friends of CARE is an animal welfare organisation which cares for injured, neglected, and needy animals in McGregor and the surrounding areas. One of our aims is to create awareness of pet population control, through education and regular sterilisation programmes run from our own centre at Ouplaas Farm. We also hold fortnightly animal clinics and occasional training events to teach local children the basics of pet care. All our work is implemented and overseen by Del Jones, Animal Welfare Officer, along with a team of volunteers.
